This Cookie Policy explains how the OG Fit web app uses cookies and similar technologies such as browser local storage. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy. The OG Fit Android app does not use browser cookies; see the Privacy Policy for how the app handles data on Android.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. "Similar technologies" include browser local storage and session storage, which work in much the same way. The OG Fit web app relies mainly on local storage rather than traditional cookies.

2. Categories we use

2.1 Strictly necessary (always active)

These are required for the App to function and cannot be switched off within the App.

  • Authentication tokens — issued when you sign in with Google (via Firebase Authentication) and stored in your browser so you stay signed in between visits. Typical lifetime: until you sign out or the session expires.
  • Security tokens — protect against cross-site request forgery and session abuse.
  • Session state — keeps an in-progress workout, timer state and navigation state intact if you refresh the page.

2.2 Preference

  • Unit preference (kg / lb), weekly goal, theme and layout preferences — remembered so you do not have to set them again. Stored locally on your device and, where relevant, in your account profile.

2.3 Analytics

  • Aggregate usage measurement — helps us understand which pages and features are used, how often sessions are logged, and where errors occur, so we can improve the App. Analytics data is aggregated and is not used to build advertising profiles.

2.4 Advertising

We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. We do not sell or share data with advertising networks, and we do not run cross-site behavioural advertising.

3. Third-party cookies

Signing in with Google may cause Google to set its own cookies on its domains as part of the sign-in flow. Those cookies are controlled by Google under its own privacy policy, not by us.

4. Your choices

  • Consent — where required by law (for example in the EEA and the UK), non-essential cookies and analytics are only used with your consent, and you can withdraw consent at any time.
  • Browser controls — you can block or delete cookies and clear local storage in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary storage will sign you out and prevent the App from working correctly.
  • Do Not Track — we do not use cross-site tracking, so there is no additional tracking to disable.

5. Changes

If we introduce new cookies or analytics tools, we will update this Policy and, where required, ask for your consent again.
