AI Usage Policy

Application: OG Fit Effective date: 26 July 2026

1. Current position

OG Fit does not currently include any live artificial-intelligence features. As of the effective date above:

  • no workout, body-metric or profile data is sent to any AI model or AI provider;
  • no AI system generates training plans, insights or recommendations in the App;
  • the statistics, streaks, charts, muscle-balance bars and estimated one-rep-max figures you see are produced by deterministic arithmetic on the data you enter, not by a machine-learning model.

2. Planned AI features

We intend to introduce AI-assisted features in future, which may include summarising your training trends, suggesting exercises or progressions, and answering general fitness questions inside the App. This Policy is published now so the commitments below are clear in advance.

3. Commitments that will apply to any AI feature

3.1 Notice and control

  • We will update this Policy and the Privacy Policy before any AI feature goes live.
  • AI features will be clearly labelled as AI-generated in the interface.
  • Where consent is required by law, we will ask for it. Where feasible, AI features will be opt-in, and you will be able to turn them off.

3.2 Data handling

  • Only the minimum data necessary for the requested feature will be sent to an AI provider — for example aggregated training volumes rather than your full history, and never your email address or avatar unless the feature inherently requires it and you have agreed.
  • We will use AI providers under terms that prohibit training their models on your data.
  • We will not sell AI inputs or outputs, and we will not use AI to build advertising profiles.
  • AI providers will be listed as processors in the Privacy Policy, with the applicable international transfer safeguards.
  • We will apply the same retention rules to AI inputs and outputs as to your other data, including deletion within 30 days of account deletion.

3.3 Human oversight and no automated decisions

AI features will be advisory only. We will not use AI to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you, and we will not use it to make medical determinations.

4. Accuracy and limitations

AI systems can be confidently wrong. Any AI-generated content in OG Fit will be an informational suggestion, not professional advice, and may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for your body, injury history or goals. Always apply your own judgement and consult a qualified healthcare professional or certified trainer before acting on AI-generated training or health suggestions. Exercise carries risk of injury; you remain responsible for your training decisions.

5. Your responsibilities

If AI features are enabled, you must not use them to generate unlawful, harmful, harassing or infringing content, to seek medical diagnosis or treatment, to promote disordered eating or substance misuse, or to attempt to extract the underlying model, prompts or other users' data. The Acceptable Use Policy applies in full.

6. Your rights

You may ask what data an AI feature processed about you, request its deletion, withdraw consent, or object to AI processing, by emailing us. Withdrawing consent disables the AI feature but does not affect the rest of the App.

7. Changes

Material changes to this Policy will be notified in the App or by email before they take effect.
